Amboseli/Tarangire/Ngorongoro/Manyara/Zanzibar
Day 1 – Nairobi / Amboseli
Arrival at the airport, freshen up followed by your drive to Amboseli National Park. The park is at the foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro and is home to many elephants. Drive to the lodge to relax for the rest of the evening.
DAY 2 – AMBOSELI
The day will be spent at the park with morning and evening game drives. All meals at the lodge.
DAY 3 – AMBOSELI / ARUSHA / TARANGIRE
Depart the lodge after breakfast for a drive to Arusha and on to Tarangire National park arriving in the late evening. Dinner and overnight.
DAY 4 – TARANGIRE
Morning and evening spent game viewing at the park.
DAY 5 – TARANGIRE / NGORONGORO
Have a morning game drive followed by departure for the Ngorongoro crater. Have a stop over at the Mto-wa-mbu to shop for artefacts, time allowing enjoy a cultural tour. Arrive at the crater rim in the late afternoon. Dinner and overnight.
DAY 6 – NGORONGORO / LAKE MANYARA
An early breakfast, you will then descend down to the crater floor for a game drive. Depart the park after lunch for a drive to Lake Manyara where you will arrive in time for dinner.
DAY 7 – LAKE MANYARA / ZANZIBAR
Enjoy a morning game drive at the park which is famous for tree-climbing lions and many other animals. You can also enjoy a walk in the park along the newly opened walkway, thus giving you a chance to see many animals up-close. Depart after lunch for a drop off at the airport for your flight to Zanzibar.
DAY 8 – ZANZIBAR
Explore the historical town of Zanzibar with a visit to Stone Town, Prison island and an evening Sunset Dhow cruise.
DAY 9,10,11
Spend idyllic days relaxing at your beach hotel such as Neptune Pwani or at Nungwi’s Dream of Zanzibar.
DAY 12 – Transfer back to the airport for your flight back home.
